I was told for those older with aging eyes the best route to go is with a dr. red dot scope and that there were low profile ones easily used for concealed carry! any feed back on this from people who have done? are they truly concealable, reliable? If so who makes the low profile ones and where can they be purchased, secondly where the heck do you find dust cover mounts to mount them on pistol? thanks for any feedback.......

Never heard of any such thing for a 1911 (or any other autoloader where it would have to be mounted on the slide).

A red dot or scope could be mounted on most revolvers, or on a .22 autoloader like the Ruger with a fixed receiver and moving bolt.
