Call or write Ruger to find out if the revolver was originally shipped with the brass gripframe. Ruger letters don't give as much info as those from S&W or Colt (lacking identification of the buyer), but they're free.
Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum Cal produced in 1971
I am looking to find a value for a Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum Cal produced in 1971 catalog number BKH-42. It has a brass grip frame which may or not been added after production but I have not been able to find out.
