Hello All,

I've got a Ruger SP101 and was wondering what the best I can hope for in the DA trigger? I bought a spring kit, and the lighter spring on the SA release is much better. Unfortunatly both of the main springs in the spring kit made the DA real "catchy" on return. I ended up putting the factory main spring back in.

I asked the local gunsmith and he didn't seem to think he could tune the DA much. He did say the SA felt real good "for a Ruger"

Ive got two S&W's and Two Colt DA's and the ruger is NO WHERE NEAR to being those. My wife shoots this one mostly, and she likes it in SA. I'd just like to be as happy as she is with it...

BTW its the 32mag in 4" barrel.

If Im not at 1000 rnds, then I'm probably real close. Might try to let it wear in some more prior todoing anything about it. Other posts I have read say they wear in at 300-500 rnds... Which I'm certain I'm past now...

Cylinder and slide says they do Ruger DA trigger work on their site. Was hoping to get some one local to do the work, though...
