I am considering an SR9, and was looking at their webpage and saw the 17+1 capacity unit has a lower retail price than the 10+1.

This confused me, figured it would be the other way around...

Can anyone fill me in on this? Are the 10+1's more reliable or built differently?

fwiw, no one pays MSRP. yet alone go by the MSRP price. you can look at the price, but IMO, will be off from real world. also some mfg have do special deals for "power buyers" and such, so you really dont know the true wholesale price, yet alone what the retail will be.

it could be that the price difference in mags is where the savings are. The gun is obviously made for the 17 round mags, and having to make a filler/modification for the 10 rounder costs more. also the 10 round mag could have less demand/need too.

Reputedly, the SR9c has a much better trigger than the SR9. The improved lockwork on the former is, perhaps, more expensive to produce.

I have been wondering about the SR9C vs SR9, mainly the SR9C is just smaller (better for CC) right?
