S&W 38 Special Wanting to date

I'm trying to find a date by S/N on a S&W 38 Spcl. with what appears to be a 1 1/2 or 2 inch barrel. The Pistol is in great shape. Nothing I can find on S&W tells me much about Mfg. Dates. S/N C395570
38 S&W SPC CTG

Those are the markings. Any info you can give on the date would be helpful.
