I own a S&W Model 645, 45 cal in Stainless that was modified in the late 80's for Steel Plate competition.
It has a Compensator on the barrel, a Ed Brown ambidextrous safety, springs replaced with Wilson and Wolff, adjustable rear sight, and has had approx 300 rounds thru it. It also has a custom Safariland holster.
Can anyone tell me what the retail value may be, as I am considering selling it.
I can take pics if necessary. Thanks for your help.

All the additional work, no matter how well done and how expensive, is not worth an extra nickle when it comes time to sell the gun. It may increase the saleability to somebody interested in a race gun, but it won't affect the price.

Here's the latest Blue Book figures:

100% $550
98% $475
95% $400
90% $350
80% $300
70% $250
60% $200

Blue Book is national average dealer retail.... FTF usually goes for 80% to 90% of book. There are also regional variations in price.
