They all seem to have been well-used.
I bought mine over a year ago for $450, and would buy another at that price in a second.
I have seen a lot of them between $500 - $700 depending on condition and location.
Mine is a very early Brazilian Contract piece, first made as a commercial model - it has NO military markings at all except the Brazilian crest, and was probably made about 1936.
It is a beautifully made revolver, very good shooter, and it has become my favorite S&W revolver in over 45 years of handgun shooting.
