Friday afternoon killed a little buck with my 4" Redhawk. He came in at about 20 feet. First shot was single action and I missed!! As he stood there trying to figure out who was shooting at him, I shot him double action. Ran about 10 yards and fell over. Double lung hit. I was using a Montana Gold JHP over 22 grains of H110. Complete pass through.

This morning I killed a doe with my 4 5/8" Blackhawk in .41 mag. She was standing in the exact same spot as the buck. First shot dropped her like a rock. Spine shot. Put another one in her head so she wouldn't suffer. She had at least two bucks chasing her, one of them was real nice. I was using a Speer 220 grain SWC-JSP over 21 grains of H110. Both shots passed completely through. Exit wound was impressive, I really like this load.
