Well, the forum says to let others know what I think of my pistol.... all I can say about my Sigma is..... adequate. I guess I shouldn't expect much for $300 new, but I'm just not impressed. I've had to have the extractor replaced, and I can't stand the trigger. Can't wait 'til I can find a nice 1911!

Now, my Walther P22 is awesome! It cost me $20 more than the Sigma, but it's 10x more fun at the range! It's pretty dang accurate, feels great, and gives me ZERO problems! Plus, I can shoot it all day on like $15 worth of ammo!

HIKERBUM: I've got the short barrelled version, and I love it! I've also shot another range member's 5" version, and there's really no difference in the shooting of the two. I'd just save the $20-30 and stay with the shorty.

Paul: hehehe, I'm sure you do! Actually, I'm trying to save up now for a 3rd gen Colt Detective Special 2" 357 NIB in blue. One of the guys at my local gunshop is a collector and we're buddies, and he offered it to me at a great price... now I just need the money!

Oh, here's a pic of my guns:

No, I had a problem... well two problems. My wife's vehicle had major problems and a day later, my Jeep. For the cost of repairs, I could have gone to the Colt Custom Shop... but, as it was, could not afford the Commander.

The guy I deal with needs to move merchandise and it'll be quite awhile before I have enough cash... sooooooooooo, I thought I'd help him out. He's got 1911's, the Commander, Pythons, S&W's, P38, etc.

If the Commander doesn't sell... it won't be because I didn't try to help. :D
