I have decided to get my first revolver - a SP101 in .357. my question is the barrel length. Is there much advantage to the extra 7/8" in length? I will probably use it for my PD CC. My other handguns are .45 automatics.

There seems to much more available in holsters for the 2". Also any suggestions on a good conceal carry holster?

Any advice or enlightment would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Norm Ralph

My wife has carried the 3" for the last 14 years. I also carry a 3" S&W 66. It is a great barrel length. A bit more velocity and sight plane over the 2". Just as easy to hide. I tend to favor the 3".
