Have you tried SARCO Inc? I think their website is www.sarco.com. I have seen these guns advertised by them in Shotgun News in the past.
Thanks this will give me a starting point---trying to locate this for a skeet squadmate what don't have a computer
I don't much about the "Star" guns - but in looking over the Brownells catalog - they may have something to fit as well.

If it's a true 1911 model - I see quite a few in the catalog that should work. Good luck

The lnk shold have been www.sarcoinc.com. The one I listed goes nowhere.
Also, is this a gun chambered for the Colt .38 Super cartridge or is it for the Super 9mm, which is a bit longer than the 9mm Parabellum? The latter is what I thought and parts can be quite difficult to find. Sarco has barrels in the $20 range but are marked "poor" condition. Whole Star Modelo B guns can be purchased in the $130 range and might be a much better way to go if this is the model your buddy has as he would then also have ready access to parts. Super 9s are a bit of a rarity, I have seen only one on the used rack in all my travels. Sarco says over 3,000,000 rounds have been imported into this country so with the scarcity of guns ammo should not run out' just maybe be difficult to find.
Yeah, thanks---I agree might as well just buy another toy
