Just read today that Steyr/Mannlicher has sold the Iranians 800 (that is not a typo) of their HS50 sniper rifles. This is Steyr's version of the .50 cal. rifle.
The fear is that since Iran is a significant source of the materials used in construction of IEDs, that many of these rifles will end up in Iraq as well.
Truthfully, I wasn't contemplating purchase of any of their products, but they are on my official sh!]list and will never see any of my dollars.
