I have a very nice 1100 Lt 20 Sporting model that I have been aimiing to trade for either a Glock 23 or BH 45 colt.
Today a gun collecter that I know said he would like to have the 1100 for his wife and offered to trade a SW29 for it. I don't really want a 44 mag. and also don't want that long of a barrel. The Stoeger Gun Traders book list both guns at about the same price. the 1100 is at least 99.5 % and I havent seen the Model 29 yet. I am debating the trade as the 29 would
probably end up be trading stock for me. Is it really worth it?
Every one has an opinion let me hear yours.

The Smith is worth 550-750 depending on condition and/or accessories. That length of bbl may be a little hard to move.

Trade made, done deal. Dug out my old set of Lyman dies today. They havent been used in over 25 years and still look like new. Now to find brass and bullets. shipping is getting
terrible. Might just have to go to Wally world and buy a box of ready mades
