I received a Colt Derringer from my Uncle on my 3rd Birthday in 1959 and it's been in a safe since then. Curious what the value may be. The note on the box sleeve indicates it is a Colt #4, the barrel engraving is as follows:
22 CAL., SHORT
COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO. INC.
HTFD.,CT., U.S.A.
Obviously I know this shows it is a Colt (in addition to the box & engraving on the top of the barrel) that was made in Hartford, CT or that is where Colt is/was based.
Barrel is gray/blue (I'm sort of color blind), balance is silver, with wood grips.
Any idea of value range?
