Glad you're back. A hammer does wonders to keep personal information on a dead hard drive private. Not that I'm sure it could be read anyway.

There isn't anything worse than a hard drive failure :x Glad to see your back Paul!
What about a raid 0 config hard drive failure? That is like 2 birds with 1 stone.

Hey Paul, glad to see you recovered.

My hard drives (this is not the first) get a taste of muriatic acid and a few 4 lb. sledge blows.

Can't have all my favorite sites become public knowledge.

muriatic acid
I'm not familiar with that, what is it and what other applications does it have?

I now have the option of taking a HD to Lapeer and blasting it with my arsenal. I'll have to exercise that option when the next drive fails.

Muriatic is a sulfuric acid mix. It is used to clean masonry and steel.

I like your idea, better! :D

Map, I am feeling a bit Range Deficient, myself. :?
Hopefully with plant shutdown this next week I can correct that for myself...hopefully you'll have luck correcting yours too.

Plan on hunting down a good compact semi while doing that too :)
