I have a Kimber Stainless Gold Match II in the 9mm. I love it.

I have a Kimber Pro Raptor II and its great

 

Never shot the SA trophy...
I put about thirty rounds through a kimber gold match though and it was wonderful.

 

Both are fine target pistols. They are both capable of better accuracy than most shooters can take advantage of.

Both also have excellent reputations in terms of reliability, fit & finish, and factory service & support (although it's very seldom required).

 

I echo wwb's comments. You can't really go wrong with either make or model. But, all this is mute if the owner does not possess the level of expertise or the necessary training to take advantage of this technology...!!
